In a new aggression, and a crime confirming that the Zionist entity encroached all red lines, the Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hizbullah rose His eminence, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, as a martyr on the path to truth, to win Hasna in the world and the afterlife, and followed the approach of the heroic martyrs who vowed themselves to the cause of the brutal occupation.
Yesterday's criminal act against the southern suburb reflects the cynical desire to expand the conflict, at the expense of all the peoples of the region and their security and stability.
Major issues, including the just Palestinian question and Lebanon's confrontation with ongoing Zionist aggressions, all confirm that it is ultimately the peoples who will triumph on their territory, the home of their history and heritage.
We renew the warning and emphasis on the responsibility of the United Nations and international organizations and the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. and all States with influence in the region, in deterring aggression and halting the ethnic genocide of Palestinians perpetrated by the occupation decades ago, since last October, our people in Gaza have been doing it miserably. It recently extended, to try to undermine our fraternal Lebanese people and to persevere in the indiscriminate killing until hundreds of Lebanese innocent people were martyred in a few days.
On this day, we reaffirm Iraq's principled position of standing with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. This position is based on international legitimacy and on the humanitarian and moral principles that make it imperative that sister peoples adhere to their land and civilized existence.
The mercy and satisfaction of the martyr Mr. Hassan Nasrallah, the glory and the uplift of all the martyrs of Lebanon, the martyrs of Palestine and the martyrs of genuine confrontation with the forces of aggression and misfortune.
We are to God, and we are to Him.
