Kuwait announced today, Saturday, the death of Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the former Prime Minister, at the age of 82. The late Sheikh held many high-ranking positions throughout his political career.
Sheikh Jaber Mubarak was born in 1942 and began his professional career in 1968 as an administrative and financial affairs monitor at the Amiri Diwan. He advanced through various positions, eventually becoming the Director of the Diwan and later an Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
