A security force arrested the son of politician Mashaan al‑Jubouri, Yazan Mashaan al‑Jubouri, at dawn today after raiding his home in the capital, Baghdad.
Al‑Jubouri confirmed on his official page that a special security force raided his son’s house and took him to an undisclosed location, noting that the force informed the family it was executing an arrest warrant issued by the judge of the Karkh Investigative Court.
In the same context, social media pages circulated an arrest warrant attributed to Yazan Mashaan al‑Jubouri, accusing him of impersonating an official capacity and embezzling an amount of 41 billion Iraqi dinars.
