Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi affirmed that Iran’s surrender to threats “is not on the table” during the Geneva negotiations, stressing that he has received initiatives aimed at reaching a “fair and balanced” nuclear agreement. Araghchi is meeting with the relevant officials ahead of talks with the United States, where he heads the Iranian delegation opposite an American delegation led by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
In a post on the platform X, Araghchi said he would hold a meeting with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, accompanied by Iranian nuclear experts, to discuss “precise technical matters.”
He added that he would also meet with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi before the diplomatic consultations with the United States begin tomorrow, Tuesday.
