Iran’s ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem, affirmed that Iran will not relinquish its right to possess nuclear technology and defensive capabilities despite American pressure and threats. His remarks came during a ceremony in Najaf marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, attended by officials, diplomats, and religious figures. He noted that the Islamic Revolution is a general call to return to Islamic values.
For his part, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Iraq said that this anniversary evokes a history of sacrifices, considering Najaf an important station in the course of the revolution.
This came during a ceremonial event held in the city of Najaf on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, with the participation of Iraqi officials, diplomats, and religious and social figures.
