An Iranian diplomat expressed Iran’s readiness for any scenario but stressed that the country’s defensive capabilities are not open for negotiation.
Trump said that the United States is negotiating with Iran “now,” following Tehran’s request to relocate the planned talks from Turkey to Oman and to narrow their scope.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump declined to specify the location of the talks scheduled for later this week.
