Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman has issued a royal decree ratifying a mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports between Oman and Iraq.
According to Royal Decree No. (100/2025), as reported by the Oman News Agency: “After reviewing the Basic Law of the State and the agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on the mutual exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports, signed in the city of Salalah on September 3, 2025…”
The decree continues: “In accordance with public interest, we hereby decree the following: Article One: Ratification of the aforementioned agreement, as per the attached text. Article Two: This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall take effect from the date of its issuance.”
