The United States Embassy in Baghdad announced on Saturday morning that it had informed Iraqi authorities about a controlled explosion at an American diplomatic facility.
In a statement, the embassy said, “Iraqi authorities were notified of a controlled detonation scheduled for Saturday morning between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the Diplomatic Support Center in Baghdad, which is a U.S. diplomatic facility.”
