The New York Times revealed that President Donald Trump's administration has initiated the deportation of around 100 Iranians aboard a chartered flight bound for Irana move that has sparked widespread controversy.
According to two Iranian officials familiar with the negotiations and a U.S. official aware of the plan, the flight departed from Louisiana on Monday evening, heading to Iran via Qatar, with arrival scheduled for Tuesday.
This deportation is considered one of the most prominent actions by the Trump administration in its immigration policy, as it proceeds with returning migrants to their home countries regardless of the human rights conditions they may face upon arrival.
