Iraq Ranks as Fourth Largest Oil Exporter to the U.S. During the Week.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq ranked fourth among the top oil-exporting countries to the United States last week.

According to the EIA’s statistics, the average U.S. crude oil imports from ten major countries reached 5.566 million barrels per day, a decrease of 293,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week’s average of 5.859 million barrels per day.

The report stated that Iraq’s oil exports to the U.S. averaged 231,000 barrels per day, down by 72,000 barrels from the previous week’s average of 303,000 barrels per day.

The EIA also noted that Canada was the top oil supplier to the U.S. last week, with an average of 3.895 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with 361,000 barrels, Saudi Arabia with 251,000 barrels, and Brazil with 231,000 barrels per day.

According to the table, U.S. crude oil imports from Nigeria averaged 226,000 barrels per day, Ecuador at 188,000 barrels, Venezuela at 49,000 barrels, Libya at 88,000 barrels, and Colombia at 46,000 barrels per day.
