Sharp Increase: Oil Exports from Iraq to the U.S. Surpass 300000 Barrels Per Day.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday a significant rise in Iraqi oil exports to the United States during the past week.

In its report, the EIA stated:

“The average U.S. crude oil imports from eight major countries last week reached 5.440 million barrels per day, a decrease of 471,000 barrels per day compared to the previous week’s average of 5.911 million barrels per day.”

It added:

“Iraq’s oil exports to the U.S. averaged 328,000 barrels per day, an increase of 186,000 barrels per day from the previous week’s average of 142,000 barrels per day.”

The administration also noted:

“Canada was the top oil exporter to the U.S. last week, with an average of 3.835 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico with 382,000 barrels per day, Saudi Arabia with 364,000 barrels per day, and Colombia with 184,000 barrels per day.”

According to the dаta:

“The U.S. imported an average of 181,000 barrels per day from Brazil, 86,000 barrels per day from Libya, and 80,000 barrels per day from Nigeria. No crude oil was imported from Venezuela or Ecuador during the past week.”
