On Sunday, the Iraqi Cabinet approved a decision to exempt Malaysian passport holders from paying entry visa fees to Iraq.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said, “The Cabinet has approved the exemption of Malaysian passport holders from paying entry visa fees to Iraq.”
The statement emphasized that the decision is based on the principle of reciprocity and the provisions of the Foreigners’ Residency Law No. 76 of 2017. It added that the move is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen foreign relations and facilitate travel between the two countries.
