U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he intends to discuss the Iranian issue with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the latter’s upcoming visit to the White House next Monday.
Trump told reporters that Iran’s nuclear program has suffered a permanent setback, despite the possibility of it being resumed at another location. He emphasized that Iran has not agreed to allow inspections of its nuclear sites or to halt uranium enrichment.
It’s worth noting that on June 13, Israel carried out a surprise air operation called “Rising Lion,” targeting military sites and nuclear facilities in Iran, most notably the Natanz uranium enrichment facility. The attack resulted in the deaths of several prominent Iranian scientists and military leaders.
