Iraqi Parliamentary Delegation Arrives in Ankara.

An Iraqi parliamentary delegation arrived in Ankara on Tuesday for an official visit aimed at strengthening parliamentary cooperation with Turkey.

The Iraqi Embassy in Turkey stated, "A delegation from the Iraqi Council of Representatives, led by MP Jabbar Al-Kinani, Chairman of the Iraqi-Turkish Friendship Committee, arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara for an official visit in response to an invitation from MP Mehmet Mufid Aydin, Chairman of the Turkish-Iraqi Friendship Committee in the Turkish Parliament."

The statement added, "Upon their arrival in Ankara, the Iraqi delegation was received by Farouk Qilij, a member of the Turkish-Iraqi Friendship Committee, along with Iraq's Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Majid Al-Lajmawi."

It continued, "The two sides are scheduled to hold an official meeting on Tuesday at the Turkish Parliament to discuss several topics of mutual interest, primarily enhancing parliamentary and political cooperation between the two countries and developing relations between the legislative institutions in Baghdad and Ankara."
