Discovery of Two Bodies and Rescue of 230 Migrants in Northern France.

French authorities found two bodies on a beach in the north of the country on Sunday while rescuing 230 migrants attempting to cross the Strait of Dover to England.

The first body was discovered on Terminus Beach in the city of Berck at 14:20 local time, followed by the discovery of a second body about 300 meters away two hours later.

Authorities suspect that the two victims were migrants trying to board a boat.

At the same time, 41 people who attempted to cross the channel unsuccessfully were rescued.

The same day saw several attempts to cross the strait, resulting in the rescue of 230 migrants at sea, according to the Manche and North Sea Maritime Directorate report.
