The White House announced that President Donald Trump has imposed tariffs on the United States' main trading partners, Canada, Mexico, and China, with a lower rate on Canadian energy imports.
Washington will impose a 25% tariff on products imported from Canada and Mexico, with a 10% tariff on Canadian energy resources, until both countries work with the United States to combat drug trafficking and immigration, according to AFP.
The White House also added that goods imported from China will be subject to a 10% tariff, in addition to the existing tariffs.
