Mr. Rayan Al-Kildani received His Holiness Patriarch Mar Gewargis III Younan, Patriarch of the Ancient Church of the East in Iraq and the world, along with his accompanying delegation, in a fraternal meeting that reflects the spirit of love.
The two parties discussed several issues related to the situation of Christians in Iraq and the Middle East and the importance of enhancing cooperation between churches to ensure the rights of believers and face common challenges.
Mr. Al-Kildani affirmed his full support for all churches and denominations in Iraq, praising the role of the Ancient Church of the East in preserving the rich Christian heritage. For his part, Patriarch Mar Gewargis III expressed his appreciation for Mr. Al-Kildani's efforts in supporting the Christian community and striving to achieve justice and equality among all components of Iraqi society.
