On Wednesday, an official reception ceremony was held for Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani at the Saad-abad Palace in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
He was received by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian. The ceremony included the playing of the national anthems of Iraq and Iran and an honor guard inspection.
The prime minister arrived in Tehran this morning at the head of a government delegation for an official visit. During this visit, he will hold a series of meetings and discussions with leaders of the Islamic Republic, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations, developing cooperation, discussing several joint issues, and addressing regional developments.
