Trump Vows Strict Measures Against Transgender Individuals from His First Day in the White House Next Month.

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump announced that he wants to stop the "transgender madness" from his first day in the White House next month, in a new attack by the Republican camp against the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

During an event for young conservatives in Phoenix, Arizona, the president-elect confirmed that he will sign decrees on January 20th, "to end the sexual mutilation of children and remove transgender individuals from our military and from our elementary, middle, and high schools.

He also pledged to "keep men out of women's sports," emphasizing that "the official policy of the United States government will be that there are only two genders, male and female.

On Sunday in Phoenix, Trump escalated his attacks on the immigration issue, which was one of his favorite topics during his campaign.

Trump promised immediate measures against "immigrant crimes," pledging to classify drug gangs as foreign terrorist organizations and revisiting the issue of reclaiming American control over the Panama Canal.

In his speech on Sunday, Trump made promises he vowed to fulfill in his second term, painting a grim picture of President Joe Biden's and Vice President Kamala Harris's tenure, whom he defeated in the 2024 elections.

Referring to Inauguration Day, Trump said, "On January 20th, the United States will forever close the chapter on four long, horrific years of failure, incompetence, and national decline, and we will usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and national greatness.

He added that on this day, "I will sign a full series of decrees to close our borders to illegal immigrants and stop the invasion of our country. On this same day, we will begin the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.

The President-elect condemned the arrival of illegal immigrants from the southern border of the United States, saying he spoke to Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum, explaining, "I told her: You cannot do this to our country.
