Iraq ranked second among Arab countries in the number of visitors to Turkey in November 2024.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, "Iraq ranked second after Saudi Arabia, which had 67,253 visitors to Turkey, while Iraq had 66,387 tourists, an increase of 2.43% from the same month in 2023, when the number of Iraqi tourists was 61,547. However, it is a decrease of 18% from 2022, when the number of Iraqi tourists was 75,060.
The ministry added that "Algeria came third with 26,678 tourists, followed by Egypt in fourth place with 18,416 tourists, then Morocco in fifth place with 16,221 tourists. Jordan came sixth with 15,332 tourists, followed by Tunisia in seventh place with 12,752 tourists.
It continued, "Kuwait ranked eighth with 11,441 tourists, Lebanon ninth with 10,943 tourists, and the UAE tenth with 5,673 tourists.
