The Joint Operations Command announced on Wednesday measures to return Syrian soldiers present in Iraq to their homeland.
According to the official agency, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadi, stated, "Our borders are fortified and completely secure, and the checkpoints with the Syrian side are fully controlled.
He added, "We will not allow any terrorists to enter our territory," explaining that "measures are underway to return the Syrian soldiers present in Iraq to their country.
