Iraq Proposes Comprehensive Plan to Achieve Stability in Syria.

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein confirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq has proposed a comprehensive plan for the future of Syria.

During a joint conference with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Turkey, and Egypt, Hussein stated that "the situation in Syria concerns all Iraqis," explaining that "Syria's security and political stability reflect on Iraq's stability, which is why we have proposed a comprehensive plan for Syria's future.

He added that "today's meeting was for the countries that are influential and affected by the situation in Syria, and we emphasized that we do not want another Libya in the region," noting that "the conference focused on working towards creating stability in Syria

Hussein pointed out that "the system in Syria should be inclusive of all its components and respect human and women's rights," explaining that "the political process in Syria should preserve the rights of Syrians and not adopt any exclusionary policies towards other components.

He concluded by stating that "it is important to create stability in Syria and ensure the return of refugees to Syria.
