Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the Prince of the Yazidis in Iraq and the world, Hazem Tahsin Beg, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Al-Sudani emphasized that the Yazidis are an integral part of our country, stressing the need to work towards justice and compensation for the sacrifices they made during the war against ISIS terrorist gangs.
The Prime Minister stated that the government is committed to supporting the Yazidi community by implementing service and economic projects in their areas to ensure the return of displaced Yazidi families to their homes. He also highlighted the ongoing efforts to uncover the fate of the missing and disappeared Yazidis and to resolve this issue due to its humanitarian, social, and legal implications.
