The Ministry of Migration and Displaced announced today, Sunday, the voluntary return of around 4,000 Lebanese guests to their country following the ceasefire decision.
The ministry's spokesperson, Ali Abbas, mentioned in an interview with the official agency followed by "Al-Oula" that "many Lebanese citizens who came to Iraq decided to return to their country following the ceasefire decision. So far, we have recorded the return of 4,000 of them through the Al-Qa'im border crossing.
He added that "the ministry has developed a plan for the reverse convoying of Lebanese families under the direction of the prime minister and has launched a form to identify those wishing to return and facilitate their return through land or air routes by organizing return trips.
