Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received the Palestinian ambassador to Iraq, Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, today, Saturday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and reviewed the developments in the Palestinian arena, which has been experiencing a criminal Zionist war for more than a year, resulting in thousands of martyrs and injured.
Al-Sudani reiterated Iraq's principled and steadfast position on the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the need for international organizations and major countries to take responsibility to end the suffering of civilians in Gaza. He noted that Iraq continues to make every effort and support endeavors in this regard and will keep sending relief materials and humanitarian supplies to the people in Gaza.
