Father Survives Alone... Death of a Woman and Her Infant Daughter from Rabarin Kurdistan in a Migrant Boat Sinking in the Aegean Sea

Bishro Abdullah, a representative of the Association of Returnee Refugees from Europe, announced today, Thursday, November 28, 2024, that a boat carrying migrants in the Aegean Sea, with 32 people on board, sank.

The incident resulted in the death of a Kurdish mother named Naila Mustafa Ahmed and her infant daughter, who was less than four months old, while the father survived the tragic accident.

According to information, the family affected by this tragedy hails from the independent administration of Rabarin in the Kurdistan region.

The accident occurred off the coast of the Greek island of Samos, a popular destination for migrants taking the boat route to Europe.
