Continuing with the approach of clarity and transparency in government work and the associated media effort aimed at disseminating facts and establishing realistic information before our esteemed people in all areas of public service, we affirm that legal action will continue against any party or entity that promotes or fabricates lies and unfounded news, which primarily aim to confuse and mislead public opinion, cover up the corrupt, and target the government team and its clear digital successes in files that have represented a difficult knot for service and economic performance over the years.
Spreading lies is the weapon of the bankrupt and a trick of those who do not hope for a sincere and valued place in the hearts of our people and the citizens of our nation. Whenever the government takes a clear step forward, like the achievement that has angered the corrupt and the envious, represented by the handover of the Grand Faw Port docks, the forgers rush to spread cheap lies, which are no longer difficult to trace back to their origins and to follow those behind them, trying to compensate for what they have lost. Consequently, the law will take its rightful course against the deliberate fabrication, lying, and slander.
Our people have faced various media attacks over the past two decades, some of which targeted our armed forces and promoted terrorism, while others targeted the democratic process and advocated for the orphans of dictatorship. Today, there are those who collude with corruption or insist on replacing their constitutionally defined role with mockery and lies, solely to tarnish tangible government achievements. They deliberately seek to stain all entities with their deviations after receiving painful blows, and no corruption file remains untouched by the hand of justice.
The government team will continue to work and give, and these blatant methods will not hinder them from achieving their goals and priorities. The war on corruption will continue in order to uphold the law and pursue anyone who tarnishes the reputation of any Iraqi or targets the performance of those who provide honorable service to all Iraqis.
