The Minister of Migration and Displacement, Ivan Faik Jabro, announced today, Thursday, the return of 181 displaced persons from the Sheikhhan camp in Duhok to their original areas in Sinjar.
The ministry stated in a statement received by "Al-Awla" that "continuing the implementation of the government program, Minister of Migration and Displacement Ivan Faik Jabro announced the return of 181 displaced persons from the Sheikhan camp in Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan Region to their original residential areas in the Sinjar district of Nineveh Governorate, in cooperation with the regional authorities, local governments, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Nineveh.
Jabro directed, "Including returnees with financial grants and relief aid to support stability in the areas of return.
