Al-Sudani appoints Muhammad Ali Al-Lami as the head of the Integrity Commission succeeding Haidar Hanoun.  

The Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, decided today, Wednesday, to appoint Mr. Mohammed Ali al-Lami as the head of the Integrity Commission, succeeding Mr. Haidar Hanoon, whom the Cabinet voted to appoint as a special advisor at the Ministry of Justice in its session yesterday and raised a recommendation to the House of Representatives for a vote on this matter.

 
The Prime Minister appreciated Mr. Haidar Hanoon's efforts in combating corruption throughout his tenure as the head of the authority, affirming the government's continued fight against corruption, which is one of its priorities, and wishing success and prosperity to the new head of the authority.

 
It is worth mentioning that Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Lami is the longest-serving Director General in the Integrity Commission and has extensive experience in legal and administrative work related to integrity.
