The Joint Operations Command revealed today Thursday the plan for the Kurdistan Region Parliament elections.

The head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Tahseen al-Khafaji, said in a statement received by "Al-Awla" that "the plan will start tomorrow, October 18, and will include seven governorates with 12 polling centers in each of Baghdad, two in Karkh and the other in Rusafa, and in Anbar, Wasit, Diyala, and Salah al-Din, while there will be four centers in Nineveh in the Nineveh Operations Command and the West Nineveh Operations Command."

 
He added that "these centers have been secured by our security forces with very high capabilities and capacities," noting that "tomorrow will be the special voting day."

 
He pointed out that "the Operations Command has prepared a plan to transfer the memory stick, which includes allocating convoys to transport the memory stick and deliver it to the main center in cooperation with the High Electoral Commission, in addition to establishing a control headquarters in the command where high-ranking officers will be present."
