Single women in Italy are fighting for the right to artificial insemination.

Italy is facing increasing criticism due to the restrictions imposed on artificial insemination, which is limited to women married to men only, depriving single women and those in same-sex partnerships of their right to achieve the dream of motherhood, according to a report published by the British newspaper "Financial Times."

These restrictions come at a time when the country is suffering from a sharp decline in fertility rates and an increasing proportion of elderly residents, raising questions about the Italian law's ability to meet the needs of modern society.

In the context of this crisis, a group of women, supported by the Luca Cosconi Association (ALC) concerned with human rights, filed legal requests to change those laws, considering them to violate their fundamental rights.
