The Israeli army announced the assassination of the head of the military apparatus in Hezbollah, Suhail Hussein Hassani.
The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichai Adraee, stated in a statement that "warplanes carried out precise strikes today in Beirut and assassinated Suhail Hussein Hassani, the head of the Hezbollah command structure."
The statement indicated that "the staff system is considered a logistical unit affiliated with Hezbollah, responsible for budgets and organizing various systems."
The statement mentioned that the General Staff system also includes the analysis and development unit in Hezbollah, which is responsible for the precise guided missile manufacturing and logistics concerning the storage and transportation of combat means within Lebanon.
