The Iranian armed forces announced on Sunday their complete readiness to respond to any Israeli attack targeting Iranian territory, affirming that the "response plan" is ready for implementation. A knowledgeable source stated to Tasnim News Agency that Iran has multiple plans to respond to any Israeli actions, noting that "if Israel takes action, there will be no doubt about the execution of the Iranian counter-strike."
The source clarified that Iran has prepared several types of counterstrikes that will be selected and executed immediately based on the nature of the Israeli movement, emphasizing that the Iranian target bank contains a large number of targets within Israel. He added, "As demonstrated by the Promise of Truth 2 operation, we are capable of destroying any target and leveling it to the ground."
According to Tasnim News Agency, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard targeted various parts of the occupied territories on October 1 during Operation "True Promise 2," launching 200 ballistic missiles, 90% of which hit their targets after bypassing Israeli air defenses. The main objectives of the operation included three Israeli Air Force bases: Nevatim, Hatzor, and Tel Nof.
The Revolutionary Guard used "Qadr" missiles with a range of 2000 km, "Imad" missiles with a range of 1700 km, and "Fattah" missiles with a range of 1400 km in this operation. This was the first time that "Fattah" hypersonic missiles were used.
